Top 5 places to have your pictures taken in Little Rock, Arkansas

Hi there!

I wanted to give some insight on some of MY favorite places to take pictures of landscape, portait, and family photography sessions since I’ve lived here!

  1. Murray Park/Murray Lock and Dam

    • Murray Park offers a unique experience for all park goers! From a big dog park to a boat launch that’s connected to the Arkansas River, you can find so many things to do while you visit! There are COUNTLESS picture perfect spots for you to choose from!

  2. Burns Park

    • Burns park, which is technically in North Little Rock, runs for miles (literally miles) and offers so many different perspectives to nature! My favorite spot is definitely the red bridge that crosses over a small pond. The park also offers multiple playgrounds, a trail that runs along the Arkansas River, and some historic sites that are definitely worth visiting!

  3. Downton Little Rock/ Little Rock Rivermarket

    • If you’re looking for the “city vibe”, downtown Little Rock and the Rivermarket are perfect! With so many different storefronts, restaurants, bars, coffee shops, and even a museum to choose from, finding somewhere to take pictures is not a difficult task. Don’t forget to visit at night when the streets are illuminated perfectly! Did I also mention it’s right on the river?

  4. The Old Mill in North Little Rock

    • Not only is the Old Mill a historic site, it was also featured in a little movie that you may have heard of! Just a small little film titled “Gone With the Wind”! The Old Mill offers a small pond and a quick trip back in time that you will definitely want to capture with your camera!

  5. The Big Dam Bridge/Two Rivers Park

    • The Big Dam Bridge (yes, that’s actually what it’s called) and Two Rivers Park are connected and tied for the fifth spot because they are actually physically connected and offer so much when combined! Not only do they offer you direct access to Little Rock and North Little Rock, they also have so many different beautiful backdrops to choose from!

Now, next time you are visiting or needing pictures to choose from, you have plenty to choose from! I’d love to connect with you about getting your pictures done at any (or all) of the locations that I’ve listed! I would also LOVE to hear your recommendations on locations to visit! Make sure to submit a contact form and follow me on all of my social media!

With love,
